I support this whole heartedly. It is so unpleasant to be a pedestrian on Laugavegur, breathing in a constant stream of car exhaust. Particularly in the colder months when the exhaust hangs lower and heavier in the air. Laugavegur/Bankastraeti should be closed to car traffic year-round. Particularly with the increased foot traffic on these streets year-round, closing the roads to car traffic makes sense.
